I replaced the middle regular hinge with this spring hinge and now after my dog pushes his way back into the house the spring hinge works to close the door behind him. It saves me from getting up and closing the door behind him everytime. It also keeps from letting the A/C out if no one is around to close the door. It's easily installed and has a tension adjustment that you can set according to your needs. I would highly recommend this hinge for anyone and it blends in very well with the other 2 regular hinges I have on the same door.
